mwfqHaparanda (in mwfgfinlandese mwfwHaaparanta) è una cittadina (mwgamwgqtätort) della mwggSvezia settentrionale, situata nella mwgwcontea di Norrbotten; è il capoluogo amministrativo della mwhamunicipalità omonima.

Insieme al centro abitato mwhgfinlandese di mwhwTornio costituisce un singolo centro urbano transfrontalierocite-ref-2[2]. I due comuni inoltre amministrano le due sezioni in cui è divisa l'isola di mwjaKataja: Haparanda quella occidentale e Tornio quella orientale.
